Data Interpretation Questions - Tricks

Above column chart is similar to Interpretation questions asked in general competitive bank examinations.
Questions :

what is the average of total number of sales in chart?
Ans : 1000+1170+1180+1030 = 1000(170+180+30/4) = 1000 + 95 = 1095

percentage of expenses compare to sales in 2004?
Ans : Sales of 2004 is 1000, and expenses of 2004 is 400 so its 40%

average percentage between sales and expenditure of all mentioned years?
Ans : total sales average is 1095 / total expense average which is 400(60+40+140/4) = 400 + 60 = 460
1095 / 460
lets divide 1095 and 460 to 5 because 5 seems divination of both. so result will be 219/92 now total of 219+92 is 311. if 311 is known as 100 than what is 219 stands for, 219*100/311 = 70.42%
and so we can know sales percentage is 29.58%

that's it. keep reading and sharing. data interpretation is the most valuable aptitude part for general banking exams.
